  October 23, 2017 - Mencia grape from Bierzo, Spain. Second wine i try from Mencia, this one totally different from first experience. Ruby red colour. Savoury nose, black olives with berry fruits. Oak is well integrated. Medium finish. A good light wine.

  on the nose: cedar and raisins with a bit of tar.
  
  Flava: seems a bit thin... soft mouth feel , some tannins on the back, not shy. smooth, well balanced. Not sugary at all. I like it, just seems a bit bland.
  Like a pinot, a bit thin. non offensive vino. non wine drinkers will like it. I wish it had some substance. It is a good vino... worth the money for when company comes over. I would not drink if I didnt have to appease other non vino drinkers. Just not complex enough for me. solid vino though.
