  August 6, 2017 - My wife's evaluation of this excellent wine:
  
  For the first 30 seconds I was blown away, caught either in a hot sun on a wonderful beach or in a deep dream imbued with feelings of well being. Then, I emerged with strong sensations of blueberries, brown sugar, and thyme. They lingered but eventually I found myself wrapped in a warm and reassuringly welcoming red wool Turkish carpet. This reminded me of the importance of good haptics to the great wine experience.

  November 28, 2013 - Very vibrant and delicious. Light but full of flavor. I like this and it got better as it opened. Raspberry and milk chocolate. Pomegranate.

  July 26, 2012 - Ruby color with lighter rim. Nose: dried cranberry, brandied cherry, and black plum with accents of star anise, cinnamon, and gingerbread. Medium body on the palate: brandied cherry and plum framed by wood-spice, ginger, and anise. Medium+ acidity. Moderate tannins. Lingering cherry/plum skin, ginger, and wood-spice on the moderate finish. Easy, ripe, spicy.
