February 9, 2024 - Kryddig, intensiv doft av jordgubbar och moreller, sandelträ och sötlakrits med lite tjärpastiller. Syrlig, förvånansvärt stram med viss förväxlingsrisk med en bra nebbiolo och synnerlig bra längd. Fortfarande ungt trots sina 15 år.

-med+ acidity, med/med- weight tight focused earthy black cherry faint oxidative note medicinal finish with somewhat astringent med tannins

December 28, 2022 - Wow, this is a great 2008. I've found that Jadot really outperforms in modest vintages like 1997 and 2008. Silky and elegant pinot noir, with a very pretty core of red cherry fruit, marked by herbs, anise and a bit of sous bois. Good acidity and a smooth, racy finish that has a pleasant umami edge to it (think porcini mushroom). Fantastic and drinking very well right now without any decanting.

May 21, 2021 - Black and red cherry with roasted meat character. Good+ weight and length, finishing with some still unresolved tannins. Good now, probably even better in another 5-10 years.

March 3, 2021 - Deep colour, full garnet almost to rim; ferrous, an austerity to nose, flourishes in the glass; serious, verging on stern, marked acidity but not overbearing, plenty of clean 'cool' red fruit. This bears the house style stamp & has an old school feel. Depth & concentration on a muscular, extended finish. A long distance runner.
