April 11, 2024 - Very well balanced acidity and minerals. Opened up alot more once it starts warming up.
Still alittle restrained, might need another year or 2 to be at peak. Beautiful control of oak.

February 11, 2022 - Pretty terrific and absolutely at peak - to drink over next year or two. Rich, full and buttery yet supported by an acid spine that keeps things fresh enough to match well with food. Big, some oak…this is no wimpy Meusault. Maybe a bit much for me, but it’s a good drink nonetheless. If you prefer this style, you will go gaga as the material is super. (92)

January 9, 2022 - Oxidized sadly. Not sure if prematurely. An '08 was also gone, but the '09 is really delightful.

December 20, 2021 - Disappointing. Premoxed or at least prematurely advanced oxidation. A top quality 11 year old 1er shouldn’t be drinking or smelling this way. The first warning sign: relatively deep brassy gold colour (compared to the lighter colours reported below in recent TNs). Cheesy and lactic with butterscotch. Some persistent acidity but the fruit seeming worn out. Drinking like a ‘70s white Burgundy over two evenings (I hoped it’d improve - it didn’t). Stored since release in refrigerated storage.
