October 6, 2015 - Initially quite bretty/barnyardy, with horse hair notes on the nose and palate; this character faded after the wine had been open for an hour or two, and there seemed to be some complexity and freshness behind it. Nose shows notes of spring onion and red fruit, especially strawberry. Palate initially shows a flavour of juicy strawberry alongside horse hair and saddle leather; behind that, there are notes of blueberry and paprika.

(Nicolas Potel Nuits-St.-Georges) Another great village wine! Buy these up as they will provide awesome drinking for the immediate future. Really thick sappy Pinot with awesome purity and chewy sweet tannins. All the grit of NSG with that extra wallup of fruit. Just a wine that is impossible not to like
