  July 30, 2016 - Classic Cali-Pinot, red and dark berries, some Earth, but not in a particular burgundy way. Clean fruit, smooth and long, drink now.

  January 17, 2013 - The Red Whale California Pinot Tasting (The Jackson Arms): My favorite wine of the tasting. Some found this nose a bit off-putting, but I loved it. Reminded me of a Loire Valley wine, with green pepper and fresh, crunchy tart berries. It tastes like a Cali wine, though, lovely fresh fruit accompanying the briary characteristics. Glad to see this kind of wine being made in these parts--and at $27. Bravo!

  November 10, 2012 - Heavily (too much) packed, blueberry and dark fruit. Hedonistic, alcohol. Not as French in style as marketed but will improve with cellaring

  August 31, 2012 - Härligt pinottypisk doft. God, fyllig smak. Tyvärr en gnutta spritsig och med lite alkhobeska. Kanske ordnar till sig med lagring. Finns dock godare pinoter att lägga pengarna på.

  February 28, 2012 - This Pinot Noir offers a lot of earth, fresh black raspberries, herbs and strawberry. Balanced and with good acidity, the wine ends with fresh cherries and spice.
