March 23, 2012 - Sometimes a wine is sexy and sometimes it's like a chaste kiss. There is something old-fashioned, sexy and candied here. Like a plate of syrupy pancakes followed by a Cuban cigar. my wife says this one is sexy.

November 29, 2011 - Plush, silky smooth, dark fruits. This is very much in the Opolo style where the mid-palate has a bit of a candied character. The finish is a quite nice spice of cinnamon. It's been my experience that Opolo wine benefit from decanting.
