September 16, 2021 - 92 Points, deep dark arterial red, moderate plummy nose, very smooth, velvety mouth feel, with some blackberry backtaste. Pleasant acidity on the finish. Lightly chalky (but artfully so) tannins, with a tenacious finish. Most of what one hopes for in a dark and mysterious Petite Syrah!

January 24, 2021 - The cork worrisomely deteriorated and crumbled on disgorgement. The wine color is a hypnotic, deep, darkest, clear, ruby red color--hard to stop gazing at the brilliance. A pure Petite Syrah nose, that makes one want to take a bite of the fruit. Total blackberry rush on the palate with pleasant acidity and tannins. Finish goes on for-e-v-e-r. Delivers a solid, smooth and polished Petite Sirah experience. Paired with, herb and garlic encrusted lamb roast. Would be great with wild duck or game. Will last many more years in cellar.
