July 4, 2020 - This bottle got lost in the cellar and I was worried about its age. To my pleasant surprise it was still good, indeed very good. Dark, still had jammy fruit, tannins had mellowed Family enjoyed with 4th of July BBQ.

December 13, 2011 - Wow, this is drinking great now, although it was probably slightly better a year ago. Muted nose of red raspberry and plum after vigorous swirling. Ruby color. Extremely easy to drink with a very nice mid-palate and short finish. Hardly any tannins. 90 points

August 8, 2011 - Pop & pour, had to demolish the stubborn cork so decanted through a mesh filter. Dark purple. Ripe on the noise and following the palate with jammy blackberries and cherries. With air a stale wood, vanilla-oak finish becomes more apparent. My last bottle and a good call to drink up; previous bottles showed better than this.
