May 23, 2020 - Drank after 2 hours of air. Medium garnet color. Some cola notes on the nose. Sour raspberries. Fades on the palate. Drink up. Still pleasant and some nice restrained fruit.

December 1, 2018 - Very good wine that appears to be peaking now. If you have it, I would drink it in the next year or two

March 12, 2012 - Where as the Lia's is entirely gentle and elegant, this is a bit more muscular. A bit of red pie fruit, showing some richness on the nose with a tart edge, like pomegranate. The palate is also a bit stronger, showing straight-forward red fruit. As the flavors relax into the finish there is a bit of red tea going on. The structure rises up and takes over the finish for me, showing a bit of sharp acidity. Stylistically I prefer the Lia's, although I could see some preferring this more forward style. I would give this a bit of age over the Lia's which I would drink right away. (for my palate and preferences) 88+
