March 30, 2018 - Very well aged in cellar. Tannins are soft, mature dark berrys. Medium pluss bodied. A topp Super Tuscan.
Doing very good as a cosy alonewine.

October 8, 2016 - From a Jeroboam bought some years ago at the Bordershop in Puttgarten for euro 19.90. Nice nose of cherry, earth, pine and some warm herbs. Perhaps a hint of Tobacco as well. On the palate sweetish fruit but well balanced. Medium finish. Surprisingly good considering what we paid for it. We bougth two jeros mostly because the price was so low and it's fun to open large bottles at big parties, so I had fairly low expectations, but this was quite nice.

July 23, 2016 - - Ruby color. It's balanced with a medium body. Silky texture with a long finish - Very good wine. Silky tannins. Round and still matching meatballs fat to clean out. Toscan Sans. are beeing more and more my favorites. Glad there are one bottle more down there in my holy cave.

May 11, 2014 - 08' is still drinking nice but not a showstopper.
old world on the palate. gamey with some tobacco and barnyard notes. mostly red fruit with a round finish due to the older vintage for this affordable tuscan. at roughly $14, if you gear more towards the barnyard infused blend, this is a winner.

by no means a bad wine but i might go elsewhere for Tuscan blends at this price point.
