    April 24, 2022 - This is excellent and still youthful. Complex and the total Chianti package. I need to be buying all the Castell’in Villa I can find. That is the problem, though. It is hard to find here on the east coast.

    May 25, 2021 - Very interesting Chianti Classico. Definitely one of the more unique.lighter on the fruit and stronger on the savory characteristics, unsurprisingly at this age. Almost like a hoisin sauce kind of funk. It’s tasty though. Plenty of tannin though the wine has a lovely mouth feel. Definitely one of the

    It opened with a little funk on the nose that quickly blew off, and you're left with about as complex of a nose as a Sangiovese will ever provide. Earthy red & black fruit with some sotto bosco scents in the mix, tonight this wine is the total Chianti package.
