  August 25, 2014 - Color: black cherry with dark cherry edges
  Nose: fairly muted - slate, tobacco, black pepper
  Flavor: tight pepper, black pepper, gravel
  Mouthfeel: very dry throughout, even drier at the end
  
  Very, very enjoyable and affordable Rhone blend.

  July 28, 2014 - HWZ Southern Rhone tasting (Asia Grand Restaurant, Odeon Tower): Red #9 tasted blind. Dark ruby red. Subtle nose of earthy toasty oak.
  The palate is definitely overwhelm by the powerful Santa Duc Selections Gigondas Les Garrigues tasted before this. Soft on the palate with meaty notes and some red fruits. Medium finish.
  Afterthought: Easily the most forgettable wine and very far from the first 2 CDR in term of quality.

  August 30, 2012 - Nose when first opened was more smooth but as it breathed it became spicier with hints of cinnamon, oak, and cherry.
  Taste is rather tart cherry with a long cherry finnish.
  However, with food this wine really takes on a different dimension. More complex and smoother adding different flavors with the different foods. For the price this is pretty good.
