Seems incredibly well structured, feels like it could tolerate some age. As others have said, extraodinary barbera. Is it 10-15 bucks better than the Pio Cesare corporate stuff? Maybe.

August 3, 2013 - I don't think I've had a better Barbera. The nose jumps out with sweet cherries, tar, and roses. A virtual baby Barolo. The fruit on the palate is balanced with acidity and the tannins kick in at the end, leaving a lovely aftertaste. A beauty of a wine to drink on this perfect evening out on the patio.
