April 6, 2014 - followed over three nights. Had this right after a classic red Jura so was hit with a heavy dose of new world "flavor". But, given a few days for my palate to adjust, and it did, this wine reveals nice high toned California mountain red fruit. Has some decent acidity, and was overall pleasurable. A bit fruity at times, certainly new world, but it is from California, so why should it be anything else. Well done.

March 8, 2013 - Pop and pour. Lots of tart strawberry with layer of cranberry and a hint of spice/earth. Nice smooth finish.

    February 16, 2013 - nice with a lighter fruit

September 8, 2012 - My second windy and I am impressed. Nose of strawberry, but not overly sweet and then I am thinking cranberries. Flavor matched that of the nose with what I think is a little raspberry hidden on the finish. Clean finish.

August 23, 2012 - Windy Oaks Pinots fascinate me to no end. They are all superb. This 09 Terra Narro does it yet again. Pours a transparent ruby/violet. The nose is powerful strawberry, raspberry, mocha and cream. Midpalate is thick and mouthcoating like an aged Burgundy, finish is layer over layer of strawberry, raspberry, spice and subtle mocha with a lingering mineral finish.
