  July 25, 2014 - Popped and poured with penne & marinara with meatballs. Quite darker than I expected. Aroma is deep dark fruits that comes off pretty alcoholic. Taste isn't quite as alcoholic, but heavy on the sweet fruit. Almost trends toward stewed. This was much better initially with the food, but as it went on and the food was done, it was nowhere near enjoyable.

  September 3, 2013 - Drank without notes. We all liked esp. since it was 50% off night. Nice fruit-cherry, fig and very smooth and balanced.

  February 1, 2013 - Decent aromas and flavors of dark cherry and tobacco and a long finish, but it perhaps lacked some of the acidity and brightness that I expected. It might need a little more time as the structure seems to be in place.
