Community Tasting Notes 1

April 20, 2012 - Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Deep garnet color. Plummy nose, with notes of black pepper, black cherries, tobacco. A bare hint of brett in the form of Band-Aid aromas is a nice addition. Pleasant on the palate, as fruit flavors lead. Acidity is firm, giving good structure to a somewhat simple profile. Finish is short but nice, with light grip and low tannins. This is a nice bottle that wants to please you, and if you air it out, it will succeed. A completely nice bottle at $24.
