August 22, 2021 - Still drinking beautifully here. It is well balanced with great fruit and nice tannic backbone. We are getting beautiful secondary notes but tertiary doesn’t really show until about an hour in the glass. Guessing this wine has a decade more

June 18, 2021 - Very expressive nose consisting of blackberries, mocha, ripe plums, tobacco, pencil shavings and loam. Plenty of structure left in this 13 year old wine, hearty tannins balanced well with acidity. Layers of boysenberries, bing cherries, tobacco, mint, licorice, cocoa and black pepper. This was our last bottle of this vintage, if we had more, it would last up to five more years.
