January 15, 2022 - Bright beautiful floral aromas. Dark red almost Burgundy in the glass. Great acidity with grippy tannins. Dark black fruit. Long finish. Lovely.

April 21, 2018 - A full body big boy, medium plus body, raspberry with nicely integrated oak. Medium finish and enjoyable wine. I have had better vintages, like ‘06 and ‘09 IMO.

November 25, 2017 - Also popped the 2006 and 2007 Nomads (all bought at the same time several years ago).

This wine came in 3rd for our tastes. Fruit was a little darker; more plum. Mouthfeel was a little grainy; needed to run through a filter (which we ultimately did later).

I don't know that this improves much; sort of is what it is. I think we would have enjoyed more in isolation; it was just 3rd out of 3 in this tasting.

October 11, 2016 - Tasted at the tasting room in Yountville. Beautiful wine here with a creamy texture of black cherry and blackberry fruit. Very smooth and rich with some notes of dark chocolate. Nice smooth tannins and long finish, well done. Tasted alongside the 2009 Nomad which tends to be a little more on the tannic side right now.
