February 28, 2024 - Drank after a 2016 P-L from Margaux … I thought this was a much more interesting wine, grippy tannins and fruity. Very good value, I would drink again. Drank with my friends on Ned’s birthday with a steak.

January 3, 2024 - EEE January 2024 St. Estephe vs St. Julien (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet which is still somewhat locked, but there are cherries, cedar and leather. On the palate a firm and juicy wine with red and dark berries, some rustic flavors, firm and juicy acidity and tannin with still a good bite. Beautiful wine with still a future of several years. 91+

January 3, 2024 - After a three hour decant this was great.

Even better the next day (from a clingfilmed decanter).

Warm, juicy. A real opulent treat if decanted for long enough. Fantastic qpr en primeur - unsettlingly close to Grand Vin quality!

July 22, 2022 - Don’t know where this came from but it was sitting in the cellar for some time - decanted for an hour or two and velvety like a delicious LB 2010 would be — a real pleasure.
