February 12, 2015 - Attractive, some hints of aging, nice ripeness and smooth acidity. Nose of hot damsons with marzipan eventually coming on finish

May 11, 2014 - Mother's Day wine. Cherry, plum, cocoa, currant, and dried red fruit with a medium long finish. This was very pleasant and enjoyable. Sadly, my last bottle from this vintage.

October 14, 2012 - This is a wonderful wine that was having an off-night. I've enjoyed this wine on numerous occasions before, but it wasn't showing well tonight. Very tight, no fruit, high acidity. It did finally start to open up after 11 hours of breathing, but previous bottles had shown much better much sooner.

June 4, 2012 - More complex than the 2008, and it definitely has a better structure for aging. Opened a bottle on Saturday and it got lost on the counter until I found it today. Still drinking well, no signs of oxidation, and the Red Mountain fruit and earthiness is coming out to play. This will still be a great wine in 5-10 years.

November 12, 2011 - Tasted @ the Winery's Release Party: 39%merlot, 26%cabsauv, 20%cabfranc, 15%malbec. We really enjoyed this latest vintage of Storm Front. The wine is nicely balanced, has good acid and fruit, and the blend creates a layered flavor profile. Not too much oak, some good tannins. Looking forward to drinking this now, and we'll probably tuck a bottle away to age for a bit.
