November 7, 2008 - Sight: Med. sedement with purple, dark ruby color. Dark and cloudy with medium legs. A young wine.
Nose: Med. intensity with a blackberry, plum fruit backed by raisin tar, leather and clove. Leans towards the earthy side.
Taste: Tar, leather, green olive and seaweed with subtle blackberry and anise seed. Not a fruit bomb.
Note: With med acidity and smooth tannis, the earthy fruit overpowers making this a slightly offbalance wine. Slightly flabby. A 40 second finish.
