November 17, 2017 - Decanted about 1 hour. Had this alongside the 2008 Diamond Mountain. Both were very pleasant Napa Cabs, with the Howell Mtn. slightly favored due to being better balanced. Generous palate of dark red fruits, spice, a bit of pepper, and nicely balancing acidity. Should hold for a couple of years.
