Community Tasting Notes 3

March 24, 2014 - Light gold. Lovely nose of pear, lemon and iodine. Relatively light framed and gently viscous on the palate but with a real presence. The citrus and orchard fruit lingers with some hints of spice in the back ground. I have had few Santa Rita Chardonnays and was expecting a bit more of an "in your face" type wine than this graceful package. My only bottle. Wish I had more.

April 22, 2012 - In Pursuit of Balance (NYC): One of our favorites Chardonnay's of the tasting as well. Nice pear, baked spices. Pure.
