July 20, 2013 - Garnet. Nose and taste still had a backbone of a typical big Oz shiraz, but there were clear signs that it is starting to go downhill, so drink up. Smoother than when had 15 years ago.

September 3, 2011 - Classic Barossa fruit but not over the top. Excellent structure, balanceand deliniation. Holding together exceptionally well after 18 years. This really does give Grange a run for the money with the requisite 15 years of aging. Why did the Aussies ever get away from this more classically restrained style of wine? Excellent.
