April 24, 2024 - Dark and brooding, the nose displays a deep core of dried fruits and spice. Dense and intense on the palate, with game, iron and dried red fruits, backed by a tannic backbone. Very complex and structured. Long persistence in the mouth. This still needs time.

September 10, 2022 - supposedly holy grail. but perhaps bottle variation? bit dirty/musty on the nose also quite mature. but beautifully integrated. pretty wine.

September 10, 2022 - Yet to experience epiphany with 1995 BM whereas had plenty with 1995 Musigny and other great BM vintages. It's an older style of Roumier with clear destemmed profile, e.g. cherry lipstick aromatics. Good but not mind-blowing.
