October 18, 2015 - At Racion: Pale Amber-orange: Saline with salted caramel, very aromatic, burned toasted notes with marmalade, dried orange peel; elegant but intense on the palate with hazelnuts, aldehyde, silky and very dry, powerful, with a dry slightly bitter finish and a slight burn.
used to be called "Sacristia" (the inner sanctum of the bodega) and was originally intended for consumption by the bodega family. 120 year old solera; this is VROS or 30 yrs old at least. Quite amazing.

October 22, 2012 - Formerly NPU, this was a big, woody, wine with a long, spicy finish that expands on the palate.

June 8, 2012 - From butts that are at least 30 up to 70 years old. Deep and extremely complex nose. Dark candied orange and lemon peel, a huge pile of walnut aromas, dried apricots and salty sea breezes among many other impressions. Mature, large scale taste that hides its sweetness almost completely. Very fresh, rich, salty, powerful (19%) and long. It's pure heaven to savour together with a mushroom soup.
