July 15, 2016 - Klassisk Rhone. Absolut i den lette ende. Men fandme godt lavet.

March 30, 2014 - Drank over three days, a lot more than one might expect from a CdRV. Pleasant Rhône bouquet, though no particular element stands out. Tightly wound on the first day, more acidic than tannic. Highly agreeable however. Did not taste on the second day. Great texture on the third day, lush and rounded. Smoke, scorched earth, minerals, and charcuterie throughout. Excellent!

Most of the 2010 Rhônes I have sampled are tight and require a much longer than average decant to reveal their many charms.

December 24, 2013 - Mangler mere fylde for at komme op på de høje karakter.

December 20, 2013 - Popped and poured with penne marinara. Aroma of red meat and plum, also a bit of green to it. Taste is plum and strawberry, with some earthiness to it. Definitely an interesting wine, but it seems like it could be a bit more integrated.

December 8, 2013 - Very interesting wine, it has the smell of wet newspaper, mushroom and forest floor, notes of green pepper, herbs, and less notable red fruits. This stuff really confused me, the influence of old oak surely brings out this wine. Since most of Cotes du Rhone wines I have tasted were made in a more pleasant way, this surely has a totally different style.

A bizarre wine in a small region, overall it's very well made, and only cost me $7 in a crazy discount. If you need a pirate in a blind tasting, this will wow your friends.
