October 17, 2014 - Outstanding Pomerol. Tasted as part of a 4 bottle vertical 2008-2011 by Bear Dalton from Houston Specs.
Deep red opaque color, strong film on glass with swirl, modest fruit nose, superb deep fruit taste, oak in background. A classic right bank Bordeaux. 95% Merlot. The best wine of the night - from 16 bottles. This is a sipping wine, better than a food accompaniment. Best of 4 year vertical as well. Price $80 -

September 11, 2013 - Ultimo Wine Centre - Bordeaux 2010 Tasting (Swisshotel, Sydney): Medium minus aromas - the wine is quite closed on the nose - bread yeast, slightly meaty/gamey notes over muted red fruit. On extreme agitation cedar comes to the fore, also offering very perfumed notes and touches of kirsch. On the palate in the wine has medium plus juicy acidity, succulent, plummy fruit, medium plus fine tannin, slight candy floss notes. The wine is balanced, long and nice.
