  January 3, 2018 - Very similar to my note from last January. Still pretty jammy, with smashed cherries, black pepper, quickly disappearing tannins, and a sappy finish. Seems much closer to the end than the beginning.

  January 6, 2017 - Jammy, a bit sappy now, muted spices, lots of red fruit but I'm not catching a lot of savory elements. Seems to be hitting its old age phase.
