  September 7, 2015 - Interesting blend. The petite verdot gives a bold finish and tannic structure to the good syrah fruit. Went well with spicy tacos.

  January 30, 2015 - This wine is opaque inky purple in color and displays nice legs of intermediate duration. The flavors are those of juicy dark berries and fruit with a touch of dried plums as well. This is followed with chocolate and smokey wood and an appealing spice and pepper finish which lingers on the palate for an expansive finish complimented by soft chalky tannins.

  July 3, 2012 - From a blend of 88% Syrah and 12% Petit Verdot, this deep colored wine offers layers of ripe, jammy blackberries, blueberry, spice and coffee. The plush, sweet, ripe, black and blue filled finish shows good persistency of flavor.

  January 21, 2012 - nose: licorice, tar, dark berries
  taste: big flavor, dark fruits, inky, jams, not much tannin but balanced acidity, clean flavors, medium finish, coating mouthfeel suggesting bigger body than I originally thought
