May 29, 2019 - From magnum. Deep, dense, and dark fruit nose and palate. Hints of spice and blueberry. Incredibly smooth and soft without being cloying, as California syrah can often be. In a PERFECT spot for drinking but can hold (without improving) for 5 yrs more easily if you just want to drink older wine, especially in this format.

December 26, 2016 - Very enjoyable. Seems to be at its peak, maybe slighly off.

June 16, 2012 - Purple color. Pretty nose of blueberry and black pepper. In the mouth, delivers the nose and some green olive notes. Not as ripe as I anticipated, going off the Pinots. A solid drink. B+
