February 16, 2023 - I found this bottle while moving. The wine is now 13 years old and what a treat. Deep ruby. Raspberry, cherry, and vanilla on the nose. Moderate to full bodied. Smooth and velvety. Cherry, raspberry and spice on the palate. No tannins. Moderate, smooth, slightly peppery finish.

October 28, 2021 - This wine never disappoints, even after 11 years. Good dark fruit with some wood and zin spice. Nothing overpowering but a good food wine.

April 13, 2020 - Showed very well with 10 years of age. Still a full and large wine but also balanced and dare I say elegant.

June 22, 2019 - My last bottle of this vintage. Still very nice. The bottle had moderate sediment and would need a decant - I did not and it spoiled the last bit.
It has reached maturity and is time to drink. The Seghesio zins are always high quality - rich, full bodied, low tannins, well balanced.
Must buy a few more -
