  May 23, 2012 - Vintage Select Industry Tasting (Vintage Select Warehouse, Houston, TX): It was great to meet Mike and Carol, a couple of locals from Houston. This is the first vintage of their wine. It is truly excellent. Great floral nose with black currant, red currant, mint, vanilla, and bit of cedar. On the palate, full bodied, yet not heavy, red currant, mint, cedar, spicy oak. Finishes with nice balance. I think this will age. Excellent to outstanding.
