December 5, 2013 - Light pigmentation, fino sherry aromas with apple/pear background, crisp palate presence, lacks the salinity and alcoholic heat of sherry but otherwise drinks like a fino or manzanilla

December 2, 2011 - There is a lot going on here. Wow. Slightly oxidative nose of nuts, honey, pear, apple, melon and quince. More Wow. Wonderfully distinctive and elegant palate of apples, pear, all sorts of honeyed fruit. Young with a tannic bite. Good match with cheeses. A great wine. Needs time in the cellar.
