October 15, 2012 - Fabulous explosion of dried rosemary, roses and powerful ripe red fruits on the nose. A lovely cool blueberry note navigates a safe path through wild, sour fruits and mushrooms on the lightweight palate. Full of sunny flavours but retains decent acidity. It would be tempting to describe this is Nebbiolo-like but this rather lacks the tannins or scale of that weighty grape. Great fun, terrific flavours and plenty of back end acid to help justify the price.
