  September 11, 2018 - Pristine bottle, perfect level, perfect cork, 14.5% ABV. Even at eight years of age, this is still a seriously structured wine, with a clean undertow of lively acidity and ample cover of dusty tannins for the ripe fruit. Tertiary flavours (white mushroom) are starting to emerge and the crisp freshness of the Cabernet-Sauvignon and meaty richness of the Shiraz are an interesting counterpoint. Weight is good but not excessive, and the abundant alcohol is well integrated. This is not a refined wine, but certainly a sturdy one, and it will last, albeit without much potential for improvement.

  August 22, 2012 - - Crimsom color with medium forming legs. It's balanced with a medium body with a medium finish - Beautiful depth with great oak integration. Lovely sweet fruit which is elegant to the taste for a young wine. I would give it eight years max.
