June 18, 2023 - I will side with the folks who have scored this on the lower end (below 95). I have no idea whether time will help this improve, but right now it seemed like a bit much. Too big, too extracted, too dark. It all just came across as a bit manipulated and out of balance. AG called it backwards when he reviewed it, which seems right. But, after 13 years, with maybe no change? Not sure it will ever fix itself.

March 29, 2022 - Decanted briefly. Pure and intense red fruit marred by fierce tannins, dense oak, and some nail polish. My only bottle but I would guess this still needs time. 93+

March 6, 2021 - Delicious dark ripe cherry, anise, and currant with floral notes on the nose and layered palate culminating in a long long finish with resolving tannins. Simply delicious!

November 2, 2020 - An incredibly concentrated, mildly chewy and polished wine. Had next to Washington State Tempranillo. The Tempranillo seemed watery in comparison. Powerful all 3 days.

April 11, 2020 - Intense floral aromas.Hedonistic and explosive, full of blueberry and blackberry, mocha and mint flavors. Drinking incredibly well right now, no need to wait further.
