Had with a standing rib roast and complemented it well.
Smooth as silk with enough fruit enhance your taste buds.

November 15, 2006 - Not bad for a Merlot. I decanted for 1 1/2 hrs, & drank intermittently during the decanting. It tasted best immediately after I aerated it into the decanter. Drank a couple of glasses with my wife's spicy turkey sausage marinara over spagetti. Not a bad food wine, but doesn't compliment it either. Like most merlots this won't get better with age, but was a pleasant surprise considering the varietal. I'll stick to their Cabs from here on out.
