February 4, 2022 - Still dark and nearly opaque. Nose of plums and baked blackberries. Medium acidity and slightly drying tannins. Notes of plums and blackberries and dark fruits. Simple but enjoyable. Thought it’d be way past its prime but still holding on and ready to drink now.

August 9, 2021 - Got a killer deal on this wine. Fun dark ink. Still drinking fine. Got this and the 2005. 2005 was better so who knows if this will mature a bit more. I'll get it again if I can find it.
