Community Tasting Notes 1

June 10, 2008 - Tasted this wine immediately after opening and again 24 hours later - what a difference; when first tasted it was like a barrel sample; very agressive disjointed fruit with firm tannins; no harmony; finshed hot and unpleasant; put a cork in the bottle and tasted again the next day; aromas of vanilla, tar and tobacco; medium body; beautiful on the palate with rich dark berry fruit flavors; long complex finish; amazing transformation after opened for 24 hours; probalby needs 3-5 year of bottle age to really begin showing well.
