December 26, 2023 - Boxing Day Tasting (Birch Road Cellar - Chicago IL): Sit down tasting. Dense and complex, not nearly as forthcoming as most 2010, , certainly disjointed. An odd bottle.

December 26, 2023 - So dense and so concentrated, but this bottle was very shut down, which can be true to form with Arnoux of this era. Hold for 10+ years.

September 28, 2023 - Dark looking and dark fruit nose. Charred oak is still apparent on top of this dark fruit in the nose. Full bodied, deep berry fruit spicy, young. This isfirm, good acid so built for 20 or 30 years. A treat to drink this tonite.

June 25, 2021 - Single blind side by side Grivot Riche 07 & 09. While the two Riches shared a clear mineral cut this RSV seemed more glossy. Darker in colour too it came across as full throttle Pinot if not necessarily so true to vineyard (i.e. not sure full blind I would have unmistakably be able to place this as Vosne GC...). Very good and time should be kind but it would need to show more nuance to be really special.

July 14, 2020 - Started with a matallic note but resolved after abt 30 mins in glass. Structured but just a baby. Needs a good 5-10 more years at least. May get better
