  November 7, 2016 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Medium-deep garnet with flashes of orange. It shows a zinfandel nose, with blackberries and blueberries, a bit of white pepper. Juicy and fruit-forward on the palate in a medium to light body. Still somewhat tart, with simple flavors. Finishes with some dryness and cedary tones, just a wisp of tannins. Completely drinkable.
