Community Tasting Notes 1

October 4, 2005 - Wow, was this good. While it's still fresh, I don't know how much longer it will hold. I've never had a GV this old, and it did not resemble any of the younger ones I've had (from Knoll or others). The color was medium gold, and it had taken on the nice sweetness of age, as opposed to any initial RS. As I say, the varietal character was hard for me to spot, but it had a sort of yellow, citrus quality that I really liked.
