  October 13, 2014 - Weekly tasting group #138; Rothschild (@ WW): PnP the bouquet is not really expressive, but there are some dark forest fruits. On the palate a juicy wine with dark forest fruits, some chocolate, sweet spices and some bell pepper. Ok acidity and slightly sticky tannin. Well structured wine. Ready now, but certainly a future of a few years.

  September 25, 2013 - Dark in color, with a nose dominated of black fruits. Tannins are solid with good structure and quite approachable after an hour in decanter. Firm body, well made wine without been spectacular. Enjoyed it throughout dinner and kept everyone happy.

  January 19, 2013 - The wine looks Crimson colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Black currant (cassis), Vanilla, and Oak. It tastes like and Black currant (cassis). The body is Medium/Full. The wine finishes Medium.

  December 30, 2010 - Pleasing deep ruby color, and mildly interesting nose. But too much oaky tannins, despite the age and the decanting. Suffered in comparison with the younger Clos Apalta
