  February 28, 2023 - Super rich aromatics are the biggest hint of age. Younger versions of this don't have that. On the palate, very similar to the '09 Carlisle Papera from last night, with perhaps slightly less fruit depth, and slightly higher acidity. In general though, resolved and ready to go. Drink now.

  January 22, 2021 - WOW! i wish I had the patience to allow my Carlisle zins to age longer. This was my last bottle of this beauty. Loads of elegant dark fruits. Great balance. Just all round delicious.

  January 3, 2021 - Drank over a few hours first as a sipper and then with homemade chili. Big fruit flavors; this stayed just short of ‘fruit bomb’ with good balance but the alcohol at 15.7% did peek through. Not showing signs of aging but drinking well now.
