June 4, 2016 - Decanted for an hour. This was just singing with a dinner of grilled meats and vegetables. Perfumey, rich and delicious. No detailed notes, but I'll be getting a whole lot more of this wine the next time I go to Croatia!

September 21, 2014 - Heavy bottle with a huge punt. Consumed over three days. The wine was medium to dark ruby in colour and offered dried dark fruit, raisins, dried blueberries, dried blackberries, red fruit, sour cherry, horse stable aromas, leather, tar, hummus, yoghurt and chocolate on the nose. On the palate the wine showed red fruit, cherry, red currant, leather, tobacco, liquorice and yoghurt, paired with prominent medium-plus acidity, chewy, slightly coarse and bitter medium-plus tannin that mellowed with air, and very good length of the bitter finish. The medium-bodied wine was astringent and disharmonious, and not pleasant to drink pop & pour either, improved significantly with air and actually drank very well on day three. Needs food. 88+
