December 9, 2018 - Pale. The nose was frustratingly elusive--even with air. The palate had quite a grown up velvetiness to it which redeemed it. Not likely to improve further.

March 12, 2013 - Lighter red color with a nice cherry nose. Tart cherry notes but very light with slight tannins. Fades relatively fast, but delicious.

November 2, 2012 - Fairly light cherry colour with initially restrained aromatics which slowly blossom in the glass to reveal a classic pinot nose of red fruits. The flavours are primary yet in a typically Burgundian fashion - no overt sweetness here. Little complexity to speak of yet and there are some unresolved tannins so whilst it is a perfectly enjoyable drink now I would ideally leave it a few years.

February 19, 2012 - Very young still but with great promise for a village wine. Lots of fruit, still tannic. The good 2009s will be superb if this is anything to go by. This is very good value
