  January 26, 2020 - Sweet black fruit on nose and palate. Full bodied but missing some acid and tannin. I have not had this wine before, but I assume it’s gracefully over the hill.

  July 4, 2013 - ROH Amphitheatre Restaurant (Gloriana - Britten).
  PnP and immediate sweet and sour cherry with dense smoky aromas emanating from the glass. Full bodied ripe and concentrated almost sweet dark fruit flavours with a dash of tar, leathery grip and integrated acid. Complex and long and would have undoubtedly shown even better if decanting time had been available. 91+.
  Excellent wine well worth the extra cost from our normal fare off the Amphitheatre wine list. Just hitting plateau but must have 3 years+ left in it at this level.
  ps Make sure you've done your weight lifting exercises before serving, the bottle weighs a ton!

  September 15, 2012 - Som ved tidligere smagninger men efter at have været til vinsmagning hele dagen syntes jeg vinen manglede lidt syre til at binde det hele sammen. Virkede lidt amarone og portvinsagtig og en kraftbasse uden lige. Dog perfekt match til oksemørbrad med foie gras og ovnbagte gulerødder. Mums
