  March 30, 2013 - Cassis, cocoa powder, herbs, earth, cedar, black cherry, and a little green pepper on the nose. Tart cherry, black cherry, cassis, vanilla, spice, earth, blackberries, and herbs on the palate. Good acidity, structure, and decent finish. Overall, this is very impressive for the price. This is a nice, balanced, modern, basic cab with no major flaws (if you don't mind a little oak).

  February 2, 2013 - Opened with fresh berries and coriander on the nose. Black cherry on the palate, with time it got darker with tobacco/tar overtones. Yummy with roasted rosemary chicken.

  December 12, 2012 - Day one I was not impressed, big extract, oak, tannin, ethanol. Next day it was dramatically better, integrated and smooth, but still big purple fruit.
